How to Use GiftWhisper

Easily export your WhatsApp conversations and let AI analyze them to provide thoughtful, personalized gift ideas tailored to your chats.

Using GiftWhisper on Mobile

Open WhatsApp on your phone.
Select the chat you want to analyze.
Tap the menu (⋮) button and choose Other > Export Chat.
Choose Without Media for faster processing.
Tap on the Mail icon and select your preferred mail app (e.g. Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo).
In the To field, enter your own email address.
Tap Send and wait for the email to be sent.
Open the received email and Download the chat file.
Go to the GiftWhisper homepage and click on Select File to upload the file.
Select the downloaded chat file and click Upload.

Open WhatsApp Web on your browser.
Select the chat you want to analyze.
Scroll up as needed to load more messages (WhatsApp Web doesn’t load the full chat at once).
Click & drag your mouse to highlight the conversation.
Press Ctrl + C (Cmd + C on Mac) to copy.
Go to the GiftWhisper homepage.
Paste the copied messages into the input field.
Click on Find Gifts.

Follow Steps 1-7 of the Mobile Guide to export your chat and send it to your email.
On your PC, open your email and download the chat file.
Go to the GiftWhisper homepage.
Click Upload and select the downloaded chat file.
Let AI analyze the messages and suggest personalized gifts.
